Around 6.5 million viewers watched last night’s episode ‘How The Test Was Won’. The viewership numbers are currently skewed as the show was broadcast from 8.45 to 9.15 in most parts of the United States due to overrun of NASCAR. Here’s the breakdown:
8:30 pm – NASCAR/The Simpsons (6.71 million)
9:00 pm – The Simpsons/King of the Hill (6.32 million)
9:30 pm – King of the Hill/American Dad (5.52 million)
EDIT: The amended figure was 6.53 million viewers
While the figure isn’t concrete, we can be sure that the show didnt break new heights or lows this week — a nice steady number which is what we’ve come to expect from the show in its 20th season. Fox was third overall for the night and second among adults 18 – 49. The Simpsons was third placed in its timeslot, behind Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and The Amazing Race.
No Loan Again, Naturally airs next Sunday night.
As expected…
These are actually good numbers, according to short preview what is episode about, and I hope that next episode (No Loan Again) will bring rating higher than 7 millions! 🙂
I think this episode could have actually gotten alot more views if FOX hadnt messed up The Simpsoons time slot with Nascar.
I was SO angry at NASCAR
Well I thought that episode was really good, reminded me of the old style simpsons humour, funny stuff.
I liked this episode, glad it got solid ratings 🙂 maybe they’ll retain viewership next week a good episode followed one week later by another episode! this is a exciting new way to schedule programs!
It amused me because one of the things I’ve always thought is that schools do teach to pass the exams rather than to give an education, this episode lampooned that effectively 🙂 Also Lisa was very cute in the exam I think we can all identify with that.
NASCAR is annoying as it is.
Nice ep by the sounds of it and decent enough ratings.
nice eppisode, realy funny but da ending was kinda lame. the ratings are rising and hopefully they will cary on to. they are starting to make eppisodes weekly now so more people will watch(hopefully).
