Season 20 stars tonight on Fox, with an all new episode titled Sex, Pies & Idiot Scrapes.
Homer is sent to jail after a haphazard, booze-free brawl at the Springfield St. Patrick’s Day parade. When he goes to get his bail bond, Homer meets Lucky Jim (guest voice Robert Forster) and Wolf the Bounty Hunter and decides to try his own hand at the lucrative profession. The new-and-improved Homer the Bounty Hunter soon teams up with Ned Flanders to create quite the unlikely bounty-hunting duo, but when Homer’s new no-mercy attitude gets the best of him, Flanders is less than impressed. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to her, Marge begins working at an erotic bakery.
Thanks for the reminder, I just can’t wait for tonight, even though I don’t live America. Do you know any other countries showing this ep tonight as well or is it an America exclusive (for a few weeks)
hmm… I don’t think so, but you can view it online somewhere…
Cool episode. I’ve been waiting for this for 3 months, and it’s finally here. Man, that was fast.
3 MONTHS!!! I only knew about this particular episode about 4 weeks ago. I know you can view it online, but yes, I also know sharing “illegal” links on the Simpsons Channel is not allowed, I’ve been on the wrong side of Adam and don’t like it!
Everything about this episode was bang on. And there were so many great moments. Off the top of my head, I’d say the top 6 gags were:
1) Smithers having a commitment ceremony that required “those really long twinkies” Marge was making as an erotic baker.
2) Doctor Hibbert having his ‘member’ immortalized as a pastry.
3) Homer telling Ned that although he was forgiven by Ned after killing Maude, that Ned really never forgives the “big stuff”.
4) Homer giving Lisa a chemistry set (which is really just a set of beakers that are evidence from a crystal meth lab).
5) Marge saying that the St. Patrick’s Day Parade usually goes over very well, until the Irish show up.
6) Judge Snyder telling Homer that his bail is set at $25,000, to which Homer dismissively says “I make that in a year”.
Can’t wait for more of Season 20. GO SIMPSONS!
Wow! This episode was very funny. Also it seems that Matt Greoning wrote this episode instead of Castellaneta.(Please correct me if I am wrong, I got the info at IMDB)
This episode has raised my interest for MORE SIMPSONS.
Another very funny moment was when Homer bowed to the public and his boob slip out.
Kevin Curran wrote the episode
What? When I said 3 months I meant I waited 3 months to see the season premiere. I just found out about this about 2 weeks ago.
@swissmarie: Oh, sorry, I found out around 3-5 days before the new even cooler SC was online and this post was published.
@friendlydude01: thanks for the list, some quite good moments
@Adam: you are on the ball, this site is better for everyone with the new design. You are the best, does this mean anything for Lardlad, or do they just just to look thru them 30,000 framegrabs.
