Shipping to comic book stands this Wednesday is Bongo’s Simpsons Comics #110. In this month’s edition, Mr. Burns asks Homer to break some bad news to the employees of the nuclear power plant, and his sensitive and sympathetic approach leads Homer into a whole new career. Homer’s new line of work makes him a “bad news” pariah, and no one will go near him for fear that he has become a harbinger of doom and gloom. You will be able to pick up your copy later this week. Bongo’s Simpsons Comics #109 hits the stands this Wednesday in North America. Mr. Burns, concerned about his public image, decides to open a museum dedicated to his life and his legend. But revisionist history is not an easy sell for the despicable despot of Springfield, especially when rewriting history requires righting so many wrongs! Also, no one is safe when Homer declares war on Arnie Pie in the Sky!

This month’s issue of Simpsons Comics (#108) hits the streets on Wednesday, so make sure you pick up your copy early. In this edition, In an attempt to fend off the FBI, Mr. Burns frames Homer with his felonious offenses. A very short trial later, Homer finds himself in federal prison. There he meets a surprising number of friends and foes. In other Bongo news, Simpsons Classics #5 is out this month, in which Bart and Milhouse accidentally go on a fantastic voyage through Mr. Burns’ enfeebled body, forcing Homer to go after them in a martini olive-shaped space capsule. Then, Bart turns Lisa’s diary into to a tell-all book sensation.

Simpsons Comics #107 ships to comic book retailers this Wednesday. In this month’s edition, Homer wins Gil’s law license in a bar bet, and soon becomes Springfield’s newest and hottest lawyer, winning cases with showstopping pyrotechnics. But when Bart is accused of setting Springfield Elementary on fire, Homer’s career may crash and burn. Simpsons Comics #106 hit the comic book stands this week, shipping this past Wednesday. Here’s what’s in store for the fans in this months American edition: Krusty the Clown produces a musical extravaganza starring The Simpsons as… The Simpsons! But life in the spotlight becomes tiresome and the smell of the greasepaint and the roar of the crowd leaves the family to ponder whether all the world is a stage and whether or not they should leave it all behind! You might remember Free Comic Book Day was held earlier this month. The website announced that the event will return next year. Maybe Bongo will get in on it again.

Comic collectors, shipping this Wednesday the 20th of April is issue #105 of Simpsons Comics, featuring Dr. Nick’s Extremely Cheap Plastic Surgery on the cover. This month, the local Board of Health calls Dr. Nick’s irresponsible medical procedures and ill-advised cosmetic quackery into question, but all is not as it seems, and the “good” doctor may serve a purpose in the medical establishment that few are willing to admit, unless those few decide to visit “Dr. Nick at Nite.” Just a reminder that The Simpsons/Futurama Crossover Crisis II Part 2 is also available as of late March so pick it up if you haven’t already.

Simpsons Comics Issue #102 hits the streets today in an adventure titled The Battle For The Barks Billions. Mr. Burns takes the Simpsons along on his annual summer vacation treasure hunt, but his South Seas adventure soon becomes a matter of life and death for everyone concerned! “Uncle Burn$'” lust for gold leads them all to the island of Donrosa and the Gottfredson trench, where the Simpsons begin to realize that there is something Huey, Dewey, and Screwy about this whole undertaking, and that they might be “Barks”ing up the wrong tree!” Bongo Comics have also announced the release of Simpsons Classics #4 and Bart Simpson Comics #23 due in April.

We previewed #100 a month ago so we thought we’d make something regular of it. Simpsons Comics #101 is avaliable in stores next Thursday. Here’s Bongo’s synopsis: “There are few things in the world that have a closer relationship than Homer and his sofa. So many memories, so many televised sporting events, so many pork rinds, such a big impression left in the cushions. After years of shared comfort food and the residual crumbs from said comfort food in the sofa’s crevices, a man and his sofa are not soon parted; especially when said man is determined to spend a whole year… on said sofa!” The issue was also said to conclude the story #100 so be sure to pick up your copy.
