Simpsons Channel: Next Generation
Welcome to the next generation of Simpsons Channel. Today marks a huge change in the site cosmetically, but more importantly, a change behind the scenes, which brings the site up to the standards you expect from news websites today. You are now viewing Simpsons Channel v.13, running off Wordpress.

Switch On To Simpsons Channel v12
Welcome to Simpsons Channel, version 12. This look has been adapted from the previous one, which was in my view from the beginning, an experimental work in progress. Simpsons Channel has always evolved with the latest web trends, so following the popularity of YouTube and streaming videos on news websites, that’s where we’ve headed. Who knew that 11 years after its inception, the title chosen for this website would be more relevant than ever in 2008?
You can expect to see the usual video highlights and previews, special promotions, and maybe further down the line, original productions. Not just ours, but yours, such as video or product reviews which you may wish to donate. You will see our first original production up there today, where after ten years you get to hear me speak.
So in addition to this shiny new panel which we’re naming the ‘remote control’, what else is new? Away with the purple color scheme, for starters. We were prominantly blue for a number of years, and I’ve been missing it, so back it comes. You’ll also notice some fancy zooming techniques when you click Promo Images for a larger view (try it), but this may not work in older browsers. The rest of the site works and operates as usual. Enjoy!

Simpsons Channel Version 11.0
Hey visitors! I’m delighted to welcome you to a new look Simpsons Channel website. This new design may look a little stripped back on features, but we assure you, it’s all here. This design is an evolution of our previous look, once again bringing a larger focus on news which now appears up-front in a nice, expanded, easy to read blog-esque format without the boringness of being a blog. It’s been quite a journey that the site has taken since the days of being a website that linked to and reported the news about the goings on of other Simpsons websites, and this is the next chapter which will see us into our tenth birthday later this year.

Nine Years Of Simpsons Channel
Hey visitors! Today marks the ninth birthday of The Simpsons Channel. On this day in 1997, the site was opened by Brian Chen as a links portal where visitors could find sites based on the content they requested. Today, the site looks different and serves a whole new purpose, and in its current form it remains at the peak of its popularity, with visitors steadily increasing every year.
Next year is set to be a huge year for the site and the show alike with the release of the long awaited Simpsons Movie, the airing of the 400th episode, the show making its way into Season 19, and the DVD releases of Seasons 10 and 11. Of course, we’ll be there with all the latest, but it wouldn’t be happening without our loyal visitors, past and present, so a huge thankyou from me to you. Here’s to another year!
