The new season is now just around the corner, with Fox releasing the first promotional image for the year. The episode featured is the premiere, He Loves To Fly And He D’oh’s, in which Homer makes it his mission to find a job that offers the luxury of flying on a corporate jet and enlists a life coach, guest star Stephen Colbert, to help fulfill his dream. Steve Buscemi To Return As Guest Voice
In an interview with Long Island Press, Matt Groening has revealed that actor Steve Buscemi will once again lend his voice to the show this season. “I’m actually coming to Los Angeles and going to help record the voice of Steve Buscemi who’s going to be playing a part in an episode of The Simpsons later this season as well as…I’m not supposed to say this until we record them but I’m taking a chance.” said Groening. Buscemi last had a very brief appearance in Season 14’s “Brake My Wife, Please” alongside Jackson Browne, voicing himself.
Groening also uses the interview to discuss the Simpsons and Futurama movie projects as well as general questions about the shows. It’s a good read and you can view it in its entirety here.
