New Springfield has released a brand new design. The site looks nice, using flash and clean graphics. The big letdown here is that the ‘Springfield Green’ look has been used before, and that this design is very similar to the site that previously used it.

Return Of Simpsons Folder
After disappearing from the net due to the cancellation of irsburger.com, The Simpsons Folder is back, all new, at simpsonsfolder.com. With it comes an original, but wacky design revolving around a train station and 8-bit Simpsons figures. It’s different, i’ll give him that. To make up for lost time, the Folder has updated with some new content that should give you something to keep you busy. Good to see it back.

Five Years Of The Channel
Two months ago, today was to be both our birthday and death day. I tried something new and it paid off. I’m pleased to announce that The Simpsons Channel has reached its five-year milestone today, and will live to see its sixth. On this day in 1997, the site was opened by Brian Chen; focusing on news and links. It almost ended after six months, but I stepped in to lend a hand. The Simpsons Channel would not be here today without the help of you, the visitors, as well as our helpers and co-owners. Next year looks to be a good one for us. You can read more about our history on our About page, but for now I’ll leave you with some designs from the vault. These can be clicked for a larger view.

A free link at The Simpsons Channel is as good a reason as any 🙂
