The Simpsons Channel will today be closing its doors after 16 years of providing you with the latest news on the Simpsons website community and the show in general.

Simpsonit – Jouni Writes A Book
Owner and webmaster of The Simpsons Archive, Jouni Paakkinen can today add ‘Simpsons author’ to his list of achievements. Jouni has written and published his first dedication ‘Simpsonit: Keltaisen perheen kaksi vuosikymmentä’, a 265 page book based on The Simpsons, released today in Finland. The book is available in Finnish but there are hopes of an English translation.

The Simpsons Gallery Redesigns
The Simpsons Gallery has been given an excellent new design today. The five year old site is now in its tenth redesign, which bases itself on a Simpsons promo card. Gone is the purple/blue color scheme you’ve been used to; the site has gone green to fit the Springfield theme.

The Simpsons Top 100 has decided to close its doors for good after serving the Simpsons web community for 7 years. Due to a lack of time, interest, and recently losing the domain after renewal issues, the owner Bryan Ludvigsen decided to make the closure official today.
