It’s that time again. The Simpsons has been nominated in three categories for this year’s Emmy awards, to be presented on September 12th and 19th. In the category of Outstanding Animated Program, “The Way We Weren’t” was nominated against familiar rivals Futurama, South Park, Samurai Jack, and Spongebob Squarepants. The song “Vote For A Winner” from the episode “The President Wore Pearls” was nominated in the Original Music and Lyrics category, while in the category for Outstanding Music Composition, the episode Treehouse Of Horror XIV has been nominated. We’ll let you know after the presentation in September who wins.
