Season 22 wraps up tonight with the finale ‘ The Ned-Liest Catch’.
Feeling guilty for getting Mrs. Krabappel suspended after one of his school pranks, Bart helps her escape detention, and Ned Flanders winds up saving her life in the process. When Edna and Ned start dating, he is surprised to learn she’s been with many of Springfield’s men, including Homer and Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer (guest-voicing as himself).
Following the episode, viewers will be asked to log on to thesimpsons.com to vote on the future of Ned and Edna (Nedna) in the show, in its first fan initiative. Of course, we’ll be running our own poll to make sure opinion matches up 🙂
Watching this tonight, especially for my man Joey! One of the most amazing people around 🙂
All I can say is HELL YES TO NEDNA STAYING TOGETHER !!!!!!!!!!!! A lot of people complain that the show doesn’t do anything different outside the box, well this ending was outside the box and I loved it !!!!!! This was a great episode and a great end to a great season. To all the haters of the new Simpson’s shows, the Simpsons is still kicking a $$ and has a major pulse. I must say the family guy star wars episode was also great and so far all three have been really fun, BRING ON THE FAMILY GUY INDIANA JONES SPOOF !!!!!!!!!!!
To keep this on topic, again let me reiterate that Simpson’s episode was great and I am PRO NEDNA ! But now I must unveil the best movie trailer I have seen in years I give you “TIN TIN THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN” DIRECTED BY STEVEN SPIELBERG AND PRODUCED BY PETER JACKSON,

LONG LIVE THE SIMPSON’S …..
great episode!
Great episode!
I’m pro Nedna! Why? It would be a waste of a set-up if they don’t stay together, a nice dynamic to explore, and after 14 seasons of Edna in search of love, and 11 years of Ned alone again natural-diddily, it’s about time for them to get someone! The Simpsons seems to stick with stories of the failure of love… it’s time to see a love story which stays. Only quibble… The Leftorium apparently opened 10 years ago… Er, Bart isn’t 20…
Yes the Simpsons are so bold they have to ask the fe fans left whether or not they should try something different. The legacy of the Simpsons has been tarnished. There was the first 10 seasons which were tremendous.. But ever since most of the episodes have been terrible. There are now more bad episodes than good episodes. With these new ratings of a Season Finale being pathetic, it is time for the Simpsons to end before they hurt their legacy anymore. I mean it is bound to happen you cant have 22 seasons with classic episodes, even though the first 10 seasons were classic. Just like the new South Parks do not compare to the old ones at all
Then why do you watch? I think the show is still almost as good as the originals and way better then bobs burgers, family guy and south park. The Nielsen ratings system is out dated and inaccurate, most people I talk to on nerd sites like this one and in life watch the show on sites like fox.com, I tunes and hulu. Another way the networks should check to see who is watching is DVD sales and social networking sites like face book and twitter. so don’t give me that BS about ratings, that is not an indicator of a shows quality….
If ratings were an indicator of a shows quality then the cosby show was much better then classic Simpson’s because the cosby show killed the classic Simpsons in ratings forcing The Simpson’s to move from Tuesday to Sunday. how’d that one work out? (:
It would make the show a bit more interesting if Bart lived next door to his teacher…
