If “That 90’s Show” aimed to bring viewership back to where it was in the ’90s, then it failed to do so, big time. 7.58 million viewers tuned in to watch the show’s timeline get hacked to bits by striking writers, delivering some of the lowest ratings on record (The Wettest Stories Ever Told: 7.04 million, Homerazzi: 6.9 million, Marge Gamer: 6.4 million, and The Way We Weren’t — another flashback episode: 6.2 million). Midnight Towboy came dangerously close to these types of figures back in October, with 7.74 million viewers.
ABC was in first place at 8pm, with 12.3 million viewers watching Home Edition, while CBS came second for the hour with Shark (11.1 million). Figure Skating on NBC delivered 5.0 million viewers and the CW trailed with 1.1 million viewers watching “Life Is Wild.”
The next new episode “Love, Springfieldian Style” airs Feb 17.
