Another week, another record low. The mothers day episode in which Mona Simpson returned to visit Homer for one last time is now the least watched Simpsons episode of all time, beating the previous record holder, last week’s ‘Any Given Sundance’. The episode, ‘Mona Leaves-a’ had a total of 6.02 million viewers, just safe from the yet-unseen 5 million mark.
Repeats of Family Guy (5.81 million) and American Dad (5.64 million) also failed to make a dent in the ratings for FOX.
Next week’s episode ‘All About Lisa’ is the season finale, so we’d expect numbers will be slightly up, and that this is the lowest figure you’ll see til at least this time next year.
