A total of 12.65 million viewers tuned in to last week’s episode ‘Mom’s I’d Like To Forget’. These are huge figures, the best so far this season, but it was the overrun of Fox’s Wildcard game that helped the show achieve this higher-than-average result.
The premiere of Bob’s Burgers at 8.30 had 9.41 million viewers, while Family Guy had 9.28 million viewers at 9.00.
This has to be one of my all time favorite shows. All the other shows I loved from being a kid–Thundercats, GI JOE, M.A.S.K.–they were all canceled or are in syndication, and when I watch them now they just don’t hold up. but I’ve grown up with the Simpsons, from first watching it as a ten year old to watching them now with my five year old daughter, The Simpsons has done something no other show of modern times has…spanned a generation. I keep a full array of my favorite episodes saved on my DVR…in fact today on my lunch break (I’m a DISH customer/employee) I kicked back, ate my sandwich, and watched “The Lemon Tree”. Here’s to 25 More Years!
