Daniel@ It gonna be just temporary, for the plot of the single episode. They don’t change main characters just like that… 🙂
Don’t worry, we gonna have good old Bart in next episode.
My guess for the title would be that either Bart’s girlfriend turns out to be on drugs, and not as “good” as she first seemed, (just like reverend lovejoy’s daughter), which is a plot point I’m holding out hope that they wouldn’t use again in such a similar episode. Or that the “drugly” refers to a second storyline that fills in around the edges of this tired premise of Bart falling in love with someone voiced by a female guest star, (sara gilbert/s4e08, meryl streep/s6e07, natalie portman/s18e12).
i dont agree that their running out of ideas. i just think that they’re capatilizing on something that worked before. ( bart falling in love) i have enjoyed all of the previous episodes were people have had relationships on the simpsons. i find them entertaining because it shows us how disfunctional the simpsons actually are when we see the family members try to date.
also, to the people that are wondering about “drugly” i think that each part of the title refers to a different part of the episode. ( the good will be bart and his new behavior, the sad will be another character and the drugly another. )
The “Drugly” part of the title refers to the subplot where Lisa does a report on what Springfield will look like in 50 years and becomes very depressed at the dreary outlook. A concerned Marge takes Lisa to a psychiatrist who diagnoses Lisa with Environment-Related Despair and puts on her on an antidepressant to cure her eco-blues.
Also, I think bobby is right. I read the plot and it appears Milhouse is upset because as Bart and Jenny’s relationship progresses, Milhouse emerges from his suspension after him and Bart played a prank and is less than thrilled about Bart turning his back on him for a girl. So Bart would be the good, Milhouse the sad and Lisa (surprisingly) the drugly. Good work! 🙂
sounds allright. the girl has a big head lol 😀
We’ve seen Bart falling in love couple of times, but I hope that this one will bring something new…
seems like they are running out of fresh ideas
I’ve seen Bart fall in love, but giving up his pranks!?! This better end good.
hm…. lots of bart’s girlfriends… not marge or homer in crush other than each other…
well, I really want to see bart behave in class good, wonder how he would do it…
but yeah, they’re running out of new ideas..
This plot reminds me too much of the episode with Reverend Lovejoy’s daughter as Bart’s girlfriend. I just hope that it isn’t the same.
This should be good Bart giving up on his pranks… but he has had a few girlfriends before it better not end bad.
Its not the same because she really its a Good girl. and Bart it isn´t…
Sorry if my English is bad, I know a Little I From Argentina
This better be a good start, seeing how alot of this season is pure garbage.
Theere was an episode like this, only it was with Lisa and Nelson. Nelson gave up his pranks for… about 5 minutes of the show.
god….. this is gonna suck bigtime and i know it.
my guess, 2nd lowest rated
Bart giving up pranks? He must turn back in to his old ways, or there will be many changes in this show.

Yeah, they’ve gone down this alley before… I wonder why “drugly” is in the title too.
