The American Music Awards aired on ABC last night, which pushed all of Fox’s Animation Domination lineup down from last week. A new episode of The Simpsons, “Pranks and Greens”, with 7.04 million, was just behind a new episode of Family Guy, with 7.39 million.

Winner: The Simpsons Character Contest
Fox have announced the winner of their recent Create a character contest, in which fans from the USA were griven the chance to create their very own character which would then make an appearance in an episode of the series.

A promotional image has been released for Sunday November 22nd’s premiere of “Pranks and Greens”. Bart tracks down Andy Hamilton, Springfield Elementary’s best prankster ever (guest voice Jonah Hill) and they become fast friends until Bart gets Andy a job working for the ultimate clown.

Ratings: The Devil Wears Nada
Last night’s episode ‘The Devil Wears Nada’ had a total of 9.04 million viewers. This makes the episode the second highest rated this season, behind ‘Bart Gets a ‘Z’ which had 9.32 million viewers last month. A usually-dominant Family Guy had 8.28 million viewers with a new episode at 9:00pm.

At the photo studio, Marge is a bit reluctant to reveal any skin, but the photographer loosens her up with wine and before long, Marge and her pin-up poses are the talk of Springfield.

Ratings: Treehouse of Horror XX
8.59 million people watched the 20th Treehouse of Horror episode last night, meaning The Simpsons was the most-watched show for the night in the entire Animation Domination lineup. The episode was up 5% over the same night last year to a 4.1 adults 18-49 rating.

New Episode: Treehouse of Horror XX
Tonight will see a Treehouse of Horror episode airing before Halloween for the first time, with Treehouse of Horror XX. The episode includes a musical segment in which Homer sings about his terrible fate in Sweeney Todd-like fashion.

Schedule: November 2009
The Futon Critic has released early information on what’s coming on The Simpsons in November 2009, starting with a repeat of October 18th’s “Treehouse of Horror” epic on November 8th. We’ll then see 2 new episodes for both November 15th, and November 22nd.

Ratings: The Great Wife Hope
7.55 million viewers tuned into “The Great Wife Hope” last night, meaning the third episode of the new season is now the least watched. Both a new episode of Family Guy and it’s new spin-off series The Cleveland Show managed to edge The Simpsons out of the top spot for the third week running.
