A total of 9.42 million viewers watched Sunday night’s episode ‘How Munched Is That Birdie In The Window’ – a new season high! The Cleveland Show followed with 7.45 million viewers, while repeats of Family Guy and American Dad drew 6.41 and 6.15 million viewers respectively.

6.63 million viewers watched last night’s episode ‘The Fool Monty’ — a substantial drop off from last week’s ‘Lisa Simpson, This Isn’t Your Life’, which was the highest rating episode of the six aired to date. Now the show faces its lowest rating episode so far, just seven days later.

These are the highest figures so far this season, which is great news coming off the back of an official announcement regarding the renewal up to Season 23. The numbers were helped by a Football overrun, but certainly shows that there is a casual audience out there that is prepared to watch new episodes of The Simpsons.
