A new episode titled ‘The D’oh-cial Network’ airs this Sunday night in North America.
As the mastermind and creator of the online social networking phenomenon SpringFace, Lisa is called to trial when Springfield’s obsession with the site becomes chaotic and dysfunctional. Lisa recounts her story and explains that she created the site after realizing she had no real friends. But as SpringFace expands and Springfield’s fixation with the site causes mass hysteria, Lisa begins to realize that adding thousands of friends online did not compare to having real friendships. Later, Patty and Selma compete against the Winklevoss Twins in the rowing event at the 2012 Olympic Games.
Like I said….RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS! The subplot is a giant WTF. 25th please be it!
It is a bit TOO ridiculous of a plotline, and a bit TOO much of a rip-off, rather than a parody which may take you years to realise what it’s referencing. It might just be that it’s such a recent movie it’s taking its ideas from that is the problem for me, but I’d rather see something creative than “ooh see that film? Let’s parody it for the second time, and in the same season!”
How about you watch the episode then rank it ?!
over 15 million viewers tuned in!!!!! well because of the football overrun 😉
I thought this was a great episode, may be the best of the season. The thing I liked about it was it was different in a kind of weird way and that was a nice surprise. The strange short film at the end was the high light for me and to any one who didn’t like this episode at least it was better then last week also great win for The New York Football Giants. I have been A Giants fan ever since I was a little boy living in Staten Island New York, 30 years latter and I still go to battle with my team every Sunday of the season and post season.
