Season 22 continues tonight with an all new episode titled ‘Loan-a-Lisa’.
When Grampa gives each member of the family a portion of his savings, Lisa and Marge spend their money in drastically different ways. Lisa invests in Nelson’s brand-new business venture, but soon realizes that her friend’s instant success might lure him away from the classroom. Worried that his judgment might be clouded, Lisa introduces Nelson to the well-educated and successful creator of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg (guest-voicing as himself), only to find out that he too dropped out of school. But when the soaring business suddenly takes a sharp turn, Lisa teaches her friend that education is invaluable
^This is how the series should have started.
Both Judge Me Tender and Elementary School Musical should have been scrapped when someone came up with the idea
This episode had pluses and minuses. The pupil sizes were somewhat back to normal, and there was more than one story intertwined together. However; Grandpa already gave the family their inheritence early (Silver dollars) so “he could be alive to see them enjoy it”. And $50 each? Kind of a random number… They couldn’t think of another way for Lisa to get money for Nelson or for Marge to accidently buy an expensive purse? They need a hardcore fan to be a writer on the show.
omg lisa and nelson are sooo cute together<3
This was garbage!
Talk about recycling ideas.

How many times do the Simpsons’ have to help Nelson?
Even the name isn’t original, they already did Mona Lisa
Marge buys the hand bag to impress people: Scenes from the Class Struggle in Springfield
good ep 4.5 / 5 best episode sens the last of season 20
Thank you guys, I am glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed the repetition, with grandpa and his inheritance, and also Lisa and Nelson liking each other again… Honestly the simpsons last great season was season 10. These new episodes are tarnishing the Simpsons legacy.. Its a shame, but I guess they will keep making terrible episodes for the money.. I love the first ten seasons, but the new episodes are horrible in comparison.
the simpsons were nº 1 last night with 8.6 million. but i’m confused with the episode becouse grampa already gave them they’re inheritence :S
Did Homer kill the last chestnut tree in Springfield?
I think he did sense I see any of them. If that, then Homer killed them all.
Yeah, the Itchy and Scratchy episode was re-hashed too.
