We know now that The Simpsons was renewed for another 2 seasons. Much of the early excitement and chatter over the internet regarding the future of the show was, in the words of Marge Simpson, “a lot of hooey”.
Simpsons producers and staff quickly began work on a new promo making light of the situation and celebrating the show’s renewal for another 2 seasons!
Dan Castellaneta even recorded new lyrics for the song “They’ll Never Stop The Simpsons” from Season 13’s episode Gump Roast.
