Veteran writer for The Simpsons, Don Payne is now taking a bigger share of the showbiz spotlight, with his feature film My Super Ex-Girlfriend opening on Friday. When asked about The Simpsons, Payne revealed an upcoming episode in which Natalie Portman will star.
“They’re working on the movie right now. I’m not working on that. But I’m looking forward to actually seeing a new Simpson story which I haven’t had anything to do with — on the big screen, no less! I have an episode coming up which features Natalie Portman as a guest voice. In the episode, Bart accidentally saves the town, and they grant him one wish. He decides he wants a driver’s license. He drives to the next town over, where Natalie Portman’s character lives. She’s a teenager, and she thinks Bart’s 16, since he’s driving — and they start dating. It actually turns into a very sweet story.”
