Two more redesigns from Character sites today. The Sarcastic Clerk has moved and sports a great new design, and The Lovejoy Files also has a new design. The Sarcastic Clerk is only temporarily on the ICBIASS server, and only it’s main page is up at the moment, although the content will be coming in the future.
1/29/00 – Left Power
The owner of The Leftorium will be moving the site to a domain, rather than be hosted on a Simplenet server. Snake’s Greasepit will also be redesigned along with the move, and a few new character sites will be opened there.

1/28/00 – Another Day, Another C&D
I Can’t Believe It’s A Simpsons Site today was the next site to receive a Cease and Desist letter from Dennis L. Wilson. Congratulations Fox, you have sucessfully managed to wipe out every major site that had multimedia to offer, now you may go to hell. Chad is almost certain that the site will stay up.
And now for some last minute news…. The Simpsons Matrix has received… a Cease and Desist letter from Fox. Because most of it’s content was asked to be removed, the owner is shutting down for now.

 1/26/00 – A Tale Of One City…
Cypress Creek has been redesigned. This new design is so much different from past layouts. The owner has gone for a ‘desert’ look, using various ‘desert’ colors and patterns.. which is unlike the actual Cypress Creek in the show at all. But who cares, right? Nonetheless, the new design is better than past designs, check it out and have a look around.
1/26/00 – Switchboard Update
The Switchboard has finally been updated. Seven, count em, seven articles in four months. So how was I supposed to update if I had no articles to put up, eh? Please send more. If you love the site so much, you will submit articles, or else it will result in a closure of everybody’s favorite section.
1/25/00 – I Hope I Didn’t Brain My Damage!
Tyler Durdon, aka. Alan Smithee, aka. Mike McDaniel, aka. Dr. Nguyen Van Falk, has officially lost his mind. Deconstructing Simpsons Sites is now known as Viewing Simpsons Sites On The Moon. If you want the url, go somewhere else.
Simpsons fans from Argentina will be pleased to know that Homer Web has been redesigned.
1/24/00 – Well Hot Dog, We Have A Wiener
Well, now it’s been over a week since we’ve had our new design. I’d like to thank everybody who had positive comments on the changes, which was pretty much everybody. Nobody hates the new design, in fact, we won ‘Best redesign of the week’ at SS News. I’ll try to keep the daily updating going as long as there is news to tell.
Brian Mayo is looking for somebody to take his old site ‘Springfield Nuclear Power Plant‘. If he doesn’t find a new owner he will close the site.
1/23/00 – KBBL Is Gonna Give Me Something Stupid!
The Domain name ‘kbbl.com’ was originally going to be used for The Simpsons Web, but now that it’s not coming back, Ryan Irvine is selling the domain to the highest bidder. If you are making or own your own Simpsons site and want the kbbl.com domain, contact Ryan and place your bid. (bids start at $200). >
 1/22/00 – I Was Saying Boo-urns
Well, redesign week is almost over, but that doesn’t stop one last minute entry from participating. And it also doesn’t mean it’ll stop next week. Minutes ago, A Burns For All Seasons was uploaded with a new design. Some people thought the site had been hit by FOX, but the site is back and better than ever.
1/21/00 – You Are Hearing Me Talk
Today, The Simpsons Sourcebook is holding the first of three scheduled chats. If you would like to talk it up with the staff of The Simpsons Archive from snpp.com, you can do it tonight at 8:00pm – 10:00pm American EST in the TSS chat room.

 1/20/00 – We Aint Got Shelter-eenies
It wouldn’t be redesign week without more redesigns. The Ned Flanders Realm has an excellent new layout. It is very effective, and one of the best layouts I’ve seen for a while.
I Can’t Believe It’s A Simpsons Site also released it’s new design. Many of you would have already seen it if you’re a regular visitor. Personally, I like the old one better, but this one is still pretty nice.
1/19/00 – Cease & Desist
Greetings, friend. One of the regulations of the new Simpsons Channel is that websites who are listed on our content pages must link back to us. Text, button, or random link, whatever. If you are listed and do not add a link within a week, your site may be removed from our listings. Thankyou.
1/18/00 – More Redesigns
The redesigns keep on coming. Today we’ve got brand new designs from Sideshow Bob Gallery and SS News. Sideshow Bob has one of the weirdest designs I’ve ever seen.
Evergreen Terrace is back open for business after server problems earlier this week.
 1/17/00 – Re-planting The Tree
Most people were expecting it earlier, but the new Simpsons Tree has finally been uploaded today. The new design is much more simple, but now you don’t have to sit through that nasty loading time. It looks great, so go have a look!
It seems like it’s the week for redesigns. Simpsons Surplus, The Simpsons Matrix, Wiggum’s World and The Springfield Public Archives have all redesigned. Have a look.
1/16/00 – Celebrate With The Simpsons
As you may already know, this week marks the tenth anniversary of The Simpsons. To mark the event, here’s just a taste of what’s happening this year.
- Development of two more Simpsons video games
- A star on the Hollywood walk of fame (unveiled on Friday)
- A line of PEZ dispensers with Simpsons characters on them
- An hour tv special comemmorating ten years of the show

1/15/00 – Nancy Reveals All!
The Simpsons star was added on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday. During an interview with Nancy Cartwright about the event, she told us that she still has season 12 to do, and that Fox are negotiating on three more years after that! For the full interview, click here.
 1/15/00 – Quit Livin’ In The Past!
Welcome to the new look Simpsons Channel. After having the same layout for over a year, we felt it was time for a major change. And we’ve done just that. The most obvious change is the colour scheme. I hope you guys like blue. We’ve pretty much taken the colour scheme from ‘Springfield Community Switchboard‘. I have also given myself more space to write about the news, as well as room for a screenshot if needed. Take a look around and let me know what you think!
