1/30/98 – More shutdowns
The Simpsons Sanitorium has been shut down due to technical problems. Meanwhile, the author of Little Pwag would like feedback as to whether she should start a new site, or stick with the current one.
1/23/98 – Sourcebook about to leave
The Simpsons Sourcebook is going to be shut down on April 1st, 1998 if a new maintainer is not found. If you would like to maintain the Sourcebook, email Ryan Johnson. His email address and an explanation is at the main page.
1/21/98 – Zone back up
The Simpsons Zone is back under new management. The old webmaster failed to pay the web design company for the design behind the site so it was taken away and given to the current webmaster. The new site is at www.wuzup.com.
1/13/98 – Sourcebook, back and kickin’
The Simpsons Sourcebook, crowned by many as the best Simpsons site on the web, is back. It seems like there were server problems, but that doesn’t matter. The important thing is that it’s back. Welcome back, Source.
1/6/98 – Zone temporarily shut down
The Simpsons Zone has been temporarily shut down. Whether it’s coming back or not is uncertain. While it wasn’t very original or creative, it wasn’t bad either. Go to what’s left of the site for details.

1/5/98 – Looking for a sound?
The author of this site is taking requests for Simpsons sound files. If he does take your request, his next major update is February 1st so drop by to check out the new sounds.
1/3/98 – No Updates for BTTS
The author of Brian’s Tribute to The Simpsons tells us he can’t get into his FTP server, therefore keeping him from updating his site. The problem should be fixed in a week or two.
1/1/98 – Sourcebook gone?
It seems like The Simpsons Sourcebook is gone. It’s not definite but it seems like it is. Many have used the Sourcebook as a source for pictures, articles and other Simpsons-related material. Crowned as the best Simpsons site on the web by many, its departure would be a major heartbreak to many.
