The Simpsons have moved even closer to winning an Oscar, thanks to the short staring Maggie Simpson, “Maggie Simpson in The Longest Daycare.” Fans may remember in 2008 “The Simpsons Movie” was not even nominated in the Best Animated Film category.
The Academy of Motion Pictures has narrowed its short list for the Best Animated Short category, and The Longest Daycare is on it!
Nominations for the 85th Academy Awards will be announced January 10, 2013. The complete “short list” of animated short films being considered are:
Adam & Dog, Combustible, Dripped, The Eagleman Stag, The Fall of the House of Usher, Fresh Guacamole, Head Over Heels, Paperman, Tram, & Maggie Simpson in the Longest Daycare.
