The Simpsons kicked off its 23rd season with a win – a total of 7.91 million viewers tuned in to watch the premiere episode ‘The Falcon & The D’ohman’. Not only are these figures up on last year’s season premiere (Elementary School Musical, 7.76 million), it was the most-watched of Fox’s season premieres last night.
The Cleveland Show followed at 8.30pm with a total of 6.02 million viewers. Family Guy came close, receiving 7.62 million viewers in the 9.00 timeslot. Ending the night, and the battle, was American Dad, which received 5.72 million viewers. NBC’s football was the big winner of the night, peaking at 19.06 million viewers at 8.30pm. Fox came third overall and second among adults 18-49.
Another new episode titled ‘Bart Stops To Smell The Roosevelts’ airs next Sunday. Did you enjoy last night’s episode? Let us know what you thought by rating the episode in our poll, by commenting on this post, or sharing your thoughts with other Simpsons fans at the No Homers Club.

This was by far the best show on the animation domination last night; Family Guy and American Dad were just awful in my opinion.
American Dad episode was like a bad horror movie lol
What were they doing seriously? It was a very long plug for whatever Cee Lo Green is doing.
I hope to see more ratings like this, Awesome! 😀
“animation domination”
enough
It was alright. Hopefully some of the episodes in this season can be as funny as the ones in the latter half of last season.
Carl had the quote of the night with “What’s with the new security guard? He’s acting all aloof. By the way, that’s my word of the day: he’s.”
