The latest news doing the rounds is that a game based on The Simpsons Movie, suitably dubbed The Simpsons Game, is currently in development by Electronic Arts. The news comes to light after a number of retailer product listings added the game over the weekend.
According to the listings, the tentatively-titled game is set to land on Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Xbox 360, PSP. Beyond that, nothing more is known, although if the game is based on the movie, it should be out around the time of its launch. EB Games lists the release date as November 1st, but this is probably a cautionary default on their behalf. We’ll have more news as soon as it comes to hand.
