Freeborn THE dysfunctional cartoon Simpson family are to
be the focus of US university students.
A course based on the wit and wisdom of the hit cartoon,
called Animated Philosophy and Religion, has been
designed for students at a Catholic-run Michigan college
to study Homer's world view and the use of religion on
the show.
Set texts will include The Simpsons and Philosophy:
The D'oh of Homer, by William Irwin, and The Gospel
According to The Simp- sons: The Spiritual Life of the
Most Animated Family.
